Most Excellent Companion William (Bill) Arthur Lightfoot was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island

Upon completion of his high school graduation he headed to Toronto, Ontario to attend Radio College of Canada.

Working for Datapoint Canada Inc., he worked his way back east where he met and married his wife, Janet. Bill and Janet have two sons, Mark (Ashley), Crapaud, PEI and Jeremy (Patty), Stratford, ON.

After a career of working at a variety of public and private sector positions, Bill retired from Bell Aliant in 2022 and now spends time enjoying family, friends and his several hobbies.
