Most Excellent Companion James A. Luddington

Born in Halifax Nova Scotia, Companion Luddington was raised in Aylesford in the beautiful Annapolis valley. When he finished High School, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces at the tender age of 17 and served in the Navy for the next 34 years retiring at the rank of LT(N).
Wanting to join the fraternity, he joined his father’s lodge. Harmony # 52 in Aylesford. He went through the chairs and served as Master twice. He went on and was selected as DDGM Kings 2013. Wanting to go further he was elected Junior Grand Warden, Senior Grand Warden, Deputy Grand Master, and served as Grand Master of Masons for Nova Scotia 2018-2019. In 2015 he petitioned to join Cornwallis Chapter #26, he progressed through the various stations and served as Most Excellent High Priest 2019 and 2020. |
Companion Luddington put his name forward at the Grand Convocation in 2023 and was elected Grand Scribe, and then Grand King in 2024, and elected Grand High Priest of the Most Excellent Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons 0f Nov Scotia in 2025.
ME Companion moved from the Annapolis Valley in 2025 and now resides on Harmony Ridge and then he affiliated with Keith Chapter #4 in Truro.
ME Companion and his Lady Anna have three sons, and their German Sheperd named Chase.
