Carson as he likes to be called was born 24th day of October 1943 in Halifax Nova Scotia although he never enjoyed the privilege of wealth growing up he did enjoy the Love and care he received from a loving family.
Raised in Equity Lodge No. 106 A & AM Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia in 1987 and served as Master of the Lodge in 1993 and a second term in 1994 after serving on many committee's in the Lodge he is presently the Treasurer and serving on the Education and Scholarship committee and continues to provide music to his and other lodges along with the lodge singers he founded called "The Equitones".
In 1998-1999 he was Grand Master of Masons in Nova Scotia.
Carson developed an interest in Scottish Rite Masonry and was inducted in the Scottish Rite Valley of Halifax in all three bodies and was elected as Thrice Puissant Grand Master of the Victoria Lodge of Perfection, became a member of the Scottish Rite Research Foundation, Chairperson of the Widows Liaison committee, he became the Most Wise Sovereign of the Keith Chapter of Rose Croix, crown an Honorary Member of Supreme Council of the 33 Degree of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Canada in London Ontario.
Member of Royal Union Chapter No. 1 of Royal Arch Masons of Nova Scotia and is a past High Priest, past Assistant Grand Chaplain, past Grand Captain of the Host, past Grand Scribe and King and Presently Most Excellent Grand High Priest of Nova Scotia with jurisdiction over Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Member of Chebucto Richardson Council No. 3 of Royal and Select Masters and is a past Thrice Illustrious Master And a Super Excellent Master, member of M.J.A. Wagner Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, member of Knights Templar Antiquity Preceptory No. 5 and is a past Preceptor, member of Order of Secret Monitors Conclave No. 6 Brothers of David and Jonathan.
As a member of Philae Shriners Ancient Arabic Order of the Mystic Shrine Carson has held all the appointed offices up to Oriental Guide, served three years as Membership Chairman, two years as President of Halifax Shrine Club, and eight years as Parade Marshal, Secretary of Scooter Patrol, Motor Corp.

Carson is a Grand Representative of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ontario and Jurisdiction, After all of the above still received more Masonic light by just coming out of the Chair in Royal Standard Lodge No. 398 on the United Grand Lodge of England.
